Job Description

Role & responsibilities

nstall, configure, and maintain MongoDB database systems (standalone, replica sets, and sharded clusters).
Monitor database performance, implement improvements, and resolve bottlenecks.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning (backups, replication, and failover).
Manage database users, roles, and access control in accordance with security policies.
Support schema design, data modeling, and document structure best practices.
Automate routine database tasks using scripts or tools.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
Monitor and maintain MongoDB databases using tools like MongoDB Ops Manager, Atlas, or open-source alternatives (e.g., MMS, Prometheus/Grafana).
Troubleshoot performance issues, database outages, and data consistency issues.
Maintain database documentation and participate in code reviews for queries and database interaction layers.
