Job Description

Linux Automation Engineer Location: Hyderabad Experience: 3-5 years Immediate to 30 days joiners preferred. Responsibilities Good working level knowledge of UNIX/Linux (L2/l3). Working level knowledge on automation/configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Python, and bash shell Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments Performance troubleshooting and capacity planning Troubleshooting, Installation, maintenance, and tuning of Linux / Unix OS. Strong knowledge on server hardware and software. Prepares installs, and implement Linux / UNIX operating software and associated components. Experience on User Administration using LDAP and AD authentication. VMware Administration Virtualization techniques or any other virtualization technology Experience on system security, patching, and upgradations. Strong knowledge of host-based SAN migrations and good experience with SAN LUNS scanning and mapping etc. and working knowledge on. Multipath/Power Path. Proficient with LVM and Linux File systems Ability to tune kernel/System parameters. Knowledge on Oracle ASM and SAN Storage Experience/Troubleshooting TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, NFS, DHCP and networking concepts. Working level knowledge on server builds/decommission. Qualifications we seek in you! Bachelors degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience needed. 3-5 years working exp as system admin role. Must be well organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude. Must understand various logging methods and security event terminology. Demonstrated oral/written communications, and client facing skills. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Red Hat Certified
