Job Description
Introduction:
Join the strategic core of our Financial Services Technology division as an Enterprise Architect within the CTO Office. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned technology leader with 15-20+ years of experience in architecting enterprise-grade solutions. You will be instrumental in designing cloud-native, scalable, and secure solutions that seamlessly integrate components from Cloud, Data, and Digital platforms to drive transformation for our financial services clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Design:
Design end-to-end enterprise solutions that address business requirements, integrating components across data platforms, digital applications, and cloud-native services. - Cross-Domain Integration:
Collaborate with domain-specific architecture teams (Cloud, Data, Digital) to stitch together comprehensive solutions that ensure performance, scalability, and regulatory compliance. - Cloud Strategy & Enablement:
Define cloud adoption strategies and reference architectures leveraging platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP. Ensure security, cost optimization, and service reliability. - Technical Governance:
Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards and oversee solution reviews during various project phases. Define and promote reusable components and frameworks. - Stakeholder Communication:
Engage business leaders, product owners, and delivery teams to understand objectives, communicate technical strategy, and influence roadmap decisions. - Innovation & Technology Scouting:
Stay current on emerging technologies, FinTech trends, and tools relevant to cloud, data, and digital transformation. Evaluate their potential impact and applicability. - Mentorship & Leadership:
Guide and mentor solution architects and technical leads across delivery teams. Foster an architecture-first mindset.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- 15-20+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years as a Solution Architect on enterprise-grade systems
- Proven expertise in architecting and delivering cloud-native applications (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of solution integration across application, data, and infrastructure layers
- Solid grasp of security, scalability, performance, and regulatory concerns in financial services
- Experience working with enterprise integration patterns, microservices, APIs, and DevOps practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Desirable Skills:
- Certifications in Cloud Architecture (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Familiarity with financial services platforms (e.g., Asset Management, Wealth management, Risk, Compliance, Payments)
- Exposure to enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks), digital experience platforms, and event-driven architectures
- Prior experience in a CTO office, enterprise architecture team, or strategy function
