Job Description

Transforming the Future with the Convergence of Simulation and Data Senior DevOps Engineer Role And Responsibilities Manage and maintain version control of software release and repositories. Work closely with other stake holders such as developers, release leads, clients, and project managers to determine the functional requirements. Use various scripting and programming languages to build, package, deploy. Test the software, Debug, and resolve compile and packaging issues. Contribute to continuous delivery cycle. Required Technical And Professional Expertise 6-8 years of experience in CI/CD and hands-on experience with DevOps techniques building continuous integration. Proven DevOps experience deploying and maintaining multi-tiered infrastructure and applications. Strong hands-on experience in Windows/Linux and Cloud native environment Hands-on experience in scripting languages Shell, Bash, Python. Experience with continuous delivery solutions using Jenkins, Docker. GitLab Pipelines, Kubernetes. Experience with Docker, Microservices and container deployment and service orchestration Exposure to VMware/Hyper-V Exposure to Application security SAST and DAST tools Veracode/OWASP/SonarQube. InstallAnywere Application knowledge (Unix/Linux/Windows) Experience with configuration management tools as Ansible/ Chef/Puppet Experience with Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Cloud formation) Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack is good to have. Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance. Proficient with git and git workflows. Knowledge of agile methodologies. Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise Bachelors degree in computer science, software Engineering, or any other related field. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools :- Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab. Virtualization and/or Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP-DevOps-Services. Collaborative team spirit in an Agile set up. [Scrum, Kanban]. Hands on Containers and container orchestration tools. Good communication skills and technical writing skills. Ability to work with a variety of cross functional teams to develop automation with services and for required tools. Be an advocate for DevOps mindset and culture, collaboration, flexibility, cross domain knowledge, sharing Self driven individual who can understand requirements, develop, and coach others as needed. Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
