Job Description

Perform ETL testing to validate data pipelines, data transformation logic, and data integrity across different systems and stages.

Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify backend data and transformation accuracy.

Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Java and Selenium to test web applications and data interfaces.

Design, develop, and execute test cases for data validation and UI/API testing.

Collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand data workflows and business rules.

Document and report defects, ensuring accurate root cause analysis and timely resolution.
-
Participate in functional, integration, system, and regression testing phases.
-
Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage test cycles and code changes.

Contribute to test planning, test data creation, and test strategy discussions.

Ensure testing best practices are followed across both data and UI layers.

4+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing.

Strong knowledge of SQL able to write complex joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data validations.

Hands-on experience in test automation using Java and Selenium WebDriver.

Experience in working with data tools such as Informatica, Talend, or similar ETL platforms is a plus.

Good understanding of testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred).

Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured is an advantage.

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven) and test management tools like JIRA, TestNG, or ALM.

Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex data flows and debug issues independently.
