Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform RMA replacements, IOS/JunOS upgrades, VLAN additions, and ACL modifications.
- Monitor network performance and assist in diagnosing connectivity issues.
- Escalate major incidents to vendors (Cisco TAC, Juniper JTAC, Arista TAC, Aruba TAC) and coordinate resolution.
- Provide 24x7 support availability with flexibility to work nights and weekends.
- Assist in maintaining network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, AAA, Cloud Security, Email Security, Endpoint Security, and SIEM.
- Create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
- Identify areas of automation for network and security deliverables.
- Participate in technical forums, content creation, and standardization of documentation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, encryption protocols, application layer protocols, network & link layer protocols, device & network management protocols).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to contribute to technical documentation, whitepapers, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in network administration, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in networking and security domains.
- Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) (preferred).Role & responsibilities
