Job Title: Senior Solution Architect Market & Liquidity Risk
Location: Abu Dhabi & India
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 10+ years in Banking Technology with expertise in Risk Architecture
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect Market & Liquidity Risk with strong techno-functional expertise in designing risk technology solutions for banking environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market and liquidity risk functions, risk data requirements, and the ability to architect robust, scalable systems for risk calculations and regulatory reporting. A key part of the role involves managing data integration from upstream systems such as Murex, T24, and TI+ into risk and reporting platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the solution design and architecture for market and liquidity risk initiatives, covering data sourcing, transformation, and reporting.
- Translate business requirements into end-to-end architectural solutions, ensuring alignment with risk policies and regulatory standards (e.g., Basel III, LCR, NSFR, IRRBB).
- Oversee the integration of data from upstream systems (T24, TI+, Murex) into centralized risk data stores or engines.
- Define and review data models, interfaces, ETL pipelines, and APIs for risk data ingestion and processing.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and data quality across the risk solution architecture.
- Collaborate with risk, finance, and technology teams to align architecture with operational and compliance goals.
- Provide architectural governance, conduct design reviews, and mentor implementation teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of market and liquidity risk concepts, calculations, and reporting frameworks.
- Proven experience designing and implementing data integration architectures involving systems like Murex, T24, TI+.
- Deep understanding of risk data modeling, data lineage, and aggregation logic for liquidity metrics and market exposure.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools, APIs, and data platforms used in financial risk management.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills for engaging both business and technical stakeholders.
