Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Market & Liquidity Risk
Location: Abu Dhabi/ India
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 8+ years in Risk Management and Business Analysis
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst Market & Liquidity Risk to support risk initiatives across market risk, liquidity risk, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the functional requirements of market and liquidity risk, along with in-depth experience working with risk data and upstream trading and core banking systems like Murex, T24, and TI+. This role involves working closely with risk, finance, and technology teams to gather business requirements, define data needs, and support solution implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements across market and liquidity risk functions.
- Translate regulatory and internal risk policy requirements into functional and data requirements for development teams.
- Identify and map risk data sources from upstream systems such as Murex, T24, and TI+.
- Collaborate with technology teams to support data ingestion, transformation, and reporting processes for risk analytics.
- Support the development and testing of risk metrics and reports including VaR, LCR, NSFR, interest rate risk, and other key indicators.
- Assist in UAT planning, execution, and sign-off to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
- Provide ongoing support for enhancements and production issues related to risk reporting platforms.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of market and liquidity risk concepts, metrics, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Hands-on experience with risk data analysis and reporting in banking or financial services.
- Familiarity with upstream banking systems such as Murex (for trading), T24 (core banking), and TI+ (treasury interface).
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including risk, finance, data, and IT.
