Desired Candidate Profile
The incumbent would be responsible for following:1. Conducting research via trade publication, the Internet, catalogues and trade shows to identify suppliers and creating huge database for the same.
2. Developing and managing procurement department.
3. Minimum 7 years of hands on experience in Hospitality Industry in procurement.
4. Generating and implementing purchase strategies.
5. Ability to critique and understand vast amount of data.
6. Preparing purchase order and sub-contractor agreements.
7. Responding to internal and external suppliers inquires.
8. Build and Manage relationship with and performance of key suppliers for critical commodities
9. Managing existing vendor and supplier relationship
Major Duties:
1. Seeking reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices
2. Negotiating prices and contracts
3. Reviewing technical specifications for Products, components, equipment etc.
4. Forecasting upcoming demand from buyers.
5. Conducting research via trade publication, the internet, catalogues and trade shows to identify supplies
6. Prepared orders, contracts and project reports.
7. Conducted price and cost analysis of the offers and prepare formal recommendations to project management for approval.

1. Commercial awareness of e-market place.
2. Should have firm exposure to online purchase process.
3. Strong analytical ability to adapt to different client needs and to develop and maintain successful working relationships
4. Time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
5. Ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines
6. Tact and diplomacy
7. A flair for negotiation and networking
8. Excellent Computer skills, proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, Windows & Lotus Notes.
9. Expertise in managing inventory software.
