Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced US HR Representative to join our team in India and support our US-based employees. This role requires strong knowledge of US HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage end-to-end HR operations across onboarding, payroll, compliance, and employee relations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Onboarding & Candidate Engagement:
    Engage with candidates, discuss job offers, negotiate compensation, and coordinate interview processes.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding:
    Manage onboarding/offboarding activities ensuring compliance with US labor laws.
  • Payroll & Benefits:
    Collaborate with the payroll team and administer employee benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Employee Relations:
    Address HR queries, support employee well-being, and maintain a positive work culture.
  • Compliance & Recordkeeping:
    Ensure HR practices follow US federal and state regulations; maintain accurate employee records.
  • Performance Management:
    Assist managers with employee reviews, development plans, and conflict resolution.
  • HRIS & Reporting:
    Maintain HRIS systems and generate HR reports and analytics as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably handling US HR processes.
  • Strong understanding of US labor laws, compliance, and benefits.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional global team.
  • Willing to work in US time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with tools like Workday, ADP, or BambooHR.
  • Certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
  • Experience managing US employee relations and HR compliance.
