Job Description
The candidate will have a passion for engineering excellence, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to design structural components for Turbo machinery products including enclosures, base frames and ancillary systems for new product development team.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Create and develop detailed mechanical designs with a focus on structural
integrity, ensuring they meet all relevant standards and specifications. - Perform comprehensive structural analysis and hand calculations to validate
the performance and safety of designs under various loading conditions. - Strong understanding of materials science and strength of materials.
- Prepare Detailed engineering documentation, including detailed drawings,
analysis reports and technical specifications. - Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations and safety
protocols - Must apply practical design considerations and utilize technical knowledge to
achieve design objectives relative to manufacturability, cost, quality and
durability.
Required skills:
- Ability to produce both concept and Detailed design using CREO.
- Strong structural validation knowledge using CREO Simulation or ANSYS.
- Strong knowledge in welding symbols and Standards API, ASME, ISA, ANSI
& DIN - Strong knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
