Portable Data Modeler: to create and manage Computer Generated Imageries by developing vehicle CAD/PDM for Build & Price/Ecom journey Candidate Specification Minimum Requirements : Any Graduate or Postgraduate with experience in CAD & relevant 3D CGI development softwares (Maya / Blender/ 3DS Max etc) 5-8 years of professional experience as a modeler in a dynamic 3D production environment. Preferred requirements : Possess formal education in media, game design, VFX, or related fields Previous engagement with the automotive design industry Display a deep understanding of geometry, topology, and an innate sense of aesthetics for composition, proportion, mass, and volume Showcase a robust and diverse portfolio exemplifying your modeling skills Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Good knowledge in CAD formats, conversion & optimization Good communication and interpersonal skills. Management Responsibilities. NA Supervisory Role: NA Job Responsibilities: Task : Proficiently perform polygonal modeling using Maya, Blender or 3D Studio Max to create stunning visuals for the automotive industry Successfully access and download PDLs/Specification sheets/Order guide for all models and identify correct vehicle variants basis scoped market requirements Identify and load correct (or closest) Control Model from Team centre/CAD repositories to Vismockup to identify the required CAD Parts Load all the required parts from Team centre/ CAD repositories to CATIA V5 & convert those files in different file formats (STL / JT / etc) Locate and identify missing parts in models through all-BOM for model variant, coordinate with relevant market PD team for missing part confirmation Identify and resolve issues related to vehicle model developments and streamline workflow for CGI modelling Craft intricate models of leather and fabric components, especially for vehicle interiors, and reconstruct missing hard surface elements. Skillfully develop UV texture coordinates to enhance the texturing process. Skillfully optimize polygon counts to ensure seamless performance in various VR, AR, and real-time applications. Uphold unwavering standards for precision, aesthetics, and productivity throughout the modeling process. Command an understanding of real-world object and architectural construction principles, actively contribute to the evolution of new modeling techniques and procedures Create/edit images and videos using latest tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud ( Photoshop, Primer Pro , Illustrator, After effects etc) Scope: Global Ford Markets Manage Complexity Clear understanding of the request received from market. Timely delivery of projects with high accuracy Relationship Management : Coordinate with global markets, regions and suppliers to monitor & manage vehicle model development for CGI
