Developer with JAVA and SQL Knowledge is responsible for L3 Support and bug fixes the cases in L3 Production support and take care of any Data Patches,fixes and Clarification and capable of doing the in-depth analysis and handle where it requires a code fix. Also be familiar with production support process and able to front end the customer(Customer Support team) and address all their technical queries. Working in P&C Insurance domain will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities - As part of L3 Production support, Team is responsible for analyzing all the production support issues and support with any fixes.
- Preparing the Data patches for the required cases and releasing it to customer through release process.
- Doing root cause analysis for all the Data Patch cases or code fixes.
- Need to do the in-depth analysis for the reported issues and address code fixes.
- Joining the customer call along with the customer facing lead and taking care of all technical queries.
- Having a good collaboration within and other team members.
- Need to follow the Production support process with 100% compliance.
- Strong and hands on knowledge of Java Object-oriented programming language and related frame works.
- Strong and hands on knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL with hands on experience in writing SQL queries with different type of joins.
- Knowledge about Web Services (SOAP, REST etc.) and API related integrations.
- Strong analytical & debugging skills.
- Address critical fixes within SLA & suggest workarounds.
- Experience in Production Support and its process.
- Experience in Insurance domain related to Property and Causalty Insurance, Life / Health and Annuity Insurance related products.
- Experience in Insurance or Banking Domain.
- Excellent communication skills as these positions are going to be remote
- 14:00 hours IST to 22:00 hours IST (aligned to EMEA time zone)
- 17:00 hours IST to 02:00 hours IST (aligned to EST time zone)
