Roles and Responsibilities
PLM User Support
o Deliver resolutions to application specific issues to the users on the PLM application Portfolio,
o Perform root cause analysis as needed and create/update defects/bugs in Service, so that implementation team can fix them.
o Support the ongoing PLM implementation projects by creating configurations in Windchill PDMLink as needed and or as specified in the solution design document.
o Validate the bug fixes by performing System integrations/regression testing as needed and coordinate with the end users for user acceptance test/closure of a defect/bug.
o Identify any shortfalls and provide feedback to SKF implementation team.
o Update knowledge base, FAQs as needed so as to enhance end user productivity
o Effectively communicate with Group IT and Vendors in elaborating issues and finding common grounds for resolution.
o Follow support & release management processes for tickets and project change requests.
Experience and Skills required
- Around 5 years of experience in Windchill Administration.
- High knowledge on PTC products.
- Experience in PTC products PDMlink , MPMLink , PartsLink - Mandatory
- Understanding of ProjectLink, Option and Variants, Creo and SUMA .
- Knowledge on Requirement Management in Windchill .
- Knowledge on Engineering Change Management.
- Expertise in Windchill 12.
- Knowledge in CAD tool to Windchill integration (Work group manager, cache maintenance, license).
- Good technical leadership skills.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills are required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organisation
Must-Have Skills Windchill Administration, Expertise in PDMLink, MPMLink, PartsLink, ECM, SUMA, Creo integrations, CAD-Windchill integration (cache/license management)
