Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled MuleSoft Developer with over 8 years of IT experience, including 5+ years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft development. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, CloudHub 2.0, and API Manager, with a strong understanding of microservice architecture, API design principles, and integration patterns.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure APIs and microservices using MuleSoft CloudHub 2.0, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. MuleSoft certification is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and CloudHub 2.0.
- Apply API-led connectivity principles to design System, Process, and Experience APIs.
- Work with RAML, DataWeave, and MEL for data modeling, transformation, and flow design.
- Implement API security standards using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and policies within API Manager.
- Perform unit testing with MUnit and participate in code reviews and integration testing.
- Monitor and manage applications on MuleSoft CloudHub 2.0 using Anypoint Platform.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business analysts to meet project goals.
- Utilize CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines for automated deployments.
- Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting across MuleSoft-based integrations.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and operational procedures.
Required Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 5+ years in MuleSoft development.
- Strong experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, CloudHub 2.0, and API Manager.
- Proficiency in RAML, DataWeave, MEL, and MUnit.
- Solid understanding of microservice architecture and integration best practices.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, etc.
- Strong knowledge of API security standards, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc. is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 (Mule 4) or higher.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and monitoring tools.
