Job Description

Assist in the preparation, review, and timely filing of Tax Audit reports, Transfer Pricing Audit documentation, and Income Tax returns.
Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities within the tax function.
Support the filing and review of statutory compliances, including SFTs, Equalization Levy, TDS returns, and other income tax-related filings.Manage scrutiny assessments, including drafting responses to notices, preparing submissions, and filing appeals
Handle matters related to rectifications, refunds, demands, and penalties; liaise with the Income Tax Department as necessary.
Reconcile Form 26AS with ledger entries to ensure accurate TDS credit claims.
Apply strong knowledge of Income Tax laws to identify tax-saving opportunities.
Regularly reconcile tax records with financials and implement internal controls.
Resolve TDS and direct tax-related queries from statutory auditors and internal teams.
