Job Description
- Design software products for enterprise customers based on product strategy and roadmap.
- Provide architectural blueprints to Engineering and Product Management Teams.
- Offer proposed design changes/suggestions to processes and products.
- Maintain and evolve software architecture documents based on evolving system requirements and industry trends and technologies.
- Understand high level business requirements and produce technical specifications, designs, architectures, and ultimately code;
- Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
- Analyze risk and report problems in meeting system requirements.
- Lead the review process for software architecture documents.
- Work closely with customers, business analysts, user interaction designers, and other software engineers to develop new solutions and improve existing ones
- Investigate, analyze and document reported defects
- Ability to handle ambiguity and collaborate across multiple groups and disciplines
- Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks concurrently and drive them to successful completion
- Experience working with complex, high-transactional products is highly desirable.
Required Candidate profile
Work with the existing admin and development teams to establish and maintain best practices in Salesforce administration and management
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices and business needs
Design solutions using existing architecture
- Work with the solution architect to refine and enhance new architectures
- Support existing SMS, CRM and Virtual Meeting integrations
- Build new integrations necessary to satisfy customer requirements
- Provide APEX coding as needed
- Lead the CSMS Salesforce Capability Center to share knowledge and best practice
- Support development of CSMS Salesforce resources by participating in team discussions and sharing learnings
- Perform ongoing Salesforce Administration (create accounts / profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, dashboards etc.)
- Support Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvals
- Participate in complex technical discussions with clients, clearly articulate options, benefits and recommendations
- Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues
- Participate in SDLC refinement conversations for Salesforce groups
