Job Description

• Hands-on experience with Scala (Mandatory) /Hadoop/Hive/Spark development, Hadoop development and implementation, Loading from disparate data sets
• Designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting Hadoop.
• Pre-processing using Hive and Spark
• Familiar with Scala/Java/JDK/Web Development
• Good with HiveQL/Impala SQL and Data Warehouse methodology, Machine Learning will be an added advantage
• Thorough understanding of SQL Server/Oracle/Mysql, sql script, sql performance optimization, procedure, trigger, index optimization - Optional
• Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle including continue integration with tools like Jenkins/JIRA and Agile methodology
• Capable of taking charge of emergent tasks and delivering without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary, Patient, organized, detail-oriented
• Ability to manage small agile team with3-5 developers

Required Candidate profile

• Member of the agile project team, ensuring efficient and effective end to end project delivery to meet Big Data strategy and client expectations
• Part-time project management (10%), focusing limited main work stream and end to end delivery
• Business requirement analysis (30%), talk with local BU regarding business requirement analysis and help to shape the data offer in some degree.
• Application design, software development (60%), most of time involve in hands-on activity for development and troubleshooting/performance tuning etc.
• leading a small agile team with 3-5 developers.
• Supports Offerings development team to build out new capabilities leveraging BDF component/technologies to address business objectives based on local country data asset
• All responsibilities are essential job functions unless noted as nonessential (N).
