We are hiring for "Senior Associates - Public Issuance" for the Chennai location. Below are the details of the role Senior Associate - Public Issuance Compliance Manage and ensure compliance with SEBI intermediary regulations, Companies Act, and other relevant regulations pertaining to public debt issuance. Liaise with regulatory bodies, including SEBI, and maintain effective communication to address compliance matters and updates. Ensure accuracy and compliance of documents filed by the Company in relation to merchant banking for public debt issuance. Stay informed about the latest regulatory changes, and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders regarding their implications. Maintain secretarial records and oversee corporate law compliances under the Companies Act. Create and implement various policies required by the Company to ensure a robust compliance framework. Stay abreast of all SEBI regulations, including Merchant Banking, Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements), and other relevant Companies Rules and Companies Act. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in merchant banking or financial services. In-depth knowledge of SEBI regulations, Companies Act, and other relevant legal frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
