Job Title: Power BI/Power Apps Developer
Location: Chennai/ Bangalore/ Hyderabad
Job Type: [Full-time]
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Power BI Developer to design, develop, and implement custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools, especially PowerApps and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will have experience creating scalable, efficient, and user-friendly business solutions that streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using PowerApps (Canvas and Model-driven apps). Automate workflows and business processes using Power Automate (Flow). Integrate PowerApps with various data sources including SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, and third-party APIs. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional applications. Maintain and enhance existing PowerApps applications and workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. Ensure data security and compliance within the apps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, UX designers, and other developers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform: PowerApps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Strong understanding of formulas, expressions, and logic used in PowerApps.
- Experience with connectors, REST APIs, and custom connectors.
- Proficiency in Office 365 applications and integration with Power Platform.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Online, Teams, and Dynamics 365 (optional but preferred).
- Ability to develop responsive UI/UX in PowerApps.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Power Platform certification(s).
- Knowledge of Power BI for embedded analytics.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or other Microsoft cloud services.
- Background in traditional programming languages (JavaScript, .NET, etc.).
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in developing business applications using Power Platform.
