Job Description
The position is fully accountable for managing Program/Project planning, scheduling and delivery of complex automotive IOT programs with hands-on experience in embedded engineering/ Automotive. The candidate will work closely with Engineering functions (Hardware, Software, Cloud and Analytics), Cross functional teams to drive complex engineering projects from Initiation to Closure.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed project plans, scope deliveries and maintain communicable schedule and metrics to enterprise clients and customer facing teams
- Lead RFP, Technical requirements discussions with enterprise / OEM customers and customer facing teams
- Create and maintain tracking dashboards / presentations for leadership, engineering and cross functional stakeholders
- Lead planning, grooming and scrum discussions for the enterprise requirements
- Create detailed project plans, schedules and charts and maintain communicable metrics (resource utilization, program costs, roadmaps) for management review
- Respond to the technical questionnaire for large prospect RFPs
- Communicate extensively with key customer account stakeholders (business and technical) and internal stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Business) via all modes and all geographies
- Identify and proactively remove any potential roadblocks to customer success
Desired Qualifications:
- E / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science Engineering
- 15 years of total experience in an electronic product development scenario with hands-on experience in software and hardware aspects
- 7+ years experience in program / project management working with Automotive domain
- Familiarity with integrating edge devices with Cloud, Analytics and SaaS solutions is an added advantage
- Prior experience in handling Automotive OEM projects, Exposure to CAN / OBD is desired
- Proficient in Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), MS Project
- PMP / ITIL certification is a plus
- Hands-on Agile experience or Scrum certification is a plus
- Motivation to be self-driven and not afraid to get hands dirty
