Database Design: Collaborating with developers to design efficient and effective database structures that meet the organization's. needs. Data Security: Implementing and enforcing security measures to protect the database from unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats. Backup and Recovery: Developing and implementing backup and recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in case of data loss or system failures. Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitoring database performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing queries to enhance overall system performance. Database Maintenance: Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as applying patches, updates, and managing database storage to ensure smooth and efficient operations. User Management: Creating and managing user accounts, roles, and permissions to control access to the database and ensure data integrity. Data Migration: Planning and executing data migration processes when transitioning to new systems or upgrading existing ones.
