Job Description

Statutory compliances Timely & accurate financial statements, including finalization of Accounts Ensuring monthly & quarterly closing is smooth with accurate accounting Setting up strong internal controls & SOX preparedness DOA compliances, Policing and administering corporate policies Liaison with the external agencies including bank officials (Oversee treasury functions and co-ordination with bankers), Government officials, auditors (internal and external) etc. Accountable for day-to-day book keeping functions of the operations Maintenaning a clean monthly balance sheet supporting records (ownership books), ensuring the existance of details forevery item on the Balance Sheet Fixed Asset Accoutning , Maintenance of FAR and Control over capitalization and disposal accounting Providing inputs for preparation of budgets, forecasts, cash flows etc Cost accounting and Inventory control Essential Responsibilities Must be well organized, detail oriented and good. with numbers. Good interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and writing skills. Self starter. Accountability and self-management Should have assertive character strong enough to enforce internal control changes. Computer knowledge A working knowledge of the BPCS(ERP) software is preferred. He must also be effective in the daily use of Excel spreadsheets. Implementation or customization of ERP system would be an advantage Ability to Identify Hazard
