Client Analytics team works on a range of analytics models, web applications and workflows for delivering high quality profitability and opportunity metrics including revenues, market share, wallet opportunities, consumption to sales and management. The team builds and maintains various analytics platforms and workflows that help business to understand clients in a holistic way and deliver better service. This role is for a senior developer to join our team of engineers who are delivering high quality analytics and user experience. You will be expected to have strong software engineering and analytical skills, with a desire to learn and understand financial markets. In this role, you will be analysing requirements, designing & building robust systems. building core datasets and responsive user interfaces to help sales/traders and other business users understand clients. Job Responsibilities Design and build scalable, high performing and responsive applications and workflows. Automate processes through appropriate tools and scripting. Uplift applications using industry standard and latest technologies Create well-designed and tested code using best practices. Act as a technical expert by setting right programming practices, testing standards, and ensuring correct SDLC standards adopted. Provide timely updates on milestone deliverables and statuses of projects to management. Work with experts and colleagues across all regions. Mentor junior developers on the team and globally. Be Responsible for prompt resolution of queries from management and users. Basic Qualifications Strong academic background with B.E/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development. Strong experience of programming in Python, Java, or equivalent language. Knowledge of Object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns Knowledge of SQL and experience of RDBMS such as Sybase IQ/ASE or an equivalent technology. Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, design, and implementation. Ability to prioritize and balance immediate deliverables with longer term strategic initiatives. Well versed with SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and familiarity of associated tools for version control, build, deployment, testing and controls Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and on multiple tasks, demonstrate initiative and commercial impact. Preferred Qualifications Full stack development experience including knowledge of HMTL5, JavaScript, Angular frameworks. Experience in performance tuning applications, data modeling and design. Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD. Knowledge and experience of capital markets, asset classes and financial services is a plus.
