The role of a Professional Services Project Manager is to be responsible for the successful implementation and governance of project delivery in line with the project plan. These projects are characterized by the fact that they include increased size, complexity and/or be of an innovative nature. This role will be client facing.
Provide pre-sales support by working closely with sales teams to understand clients key requirements and operating model
Drive the end-to-end Planning, tracking and coordinating dedicated client projects from pre-sales until launch involving a wide range of different parties and systems both at Wirecard, external vendors and with the client.
Provide execution leadership whilst coordinating different technical, commercial, legal and organizational workstreams as part of highly complex, innovative, project delivery in the area of card issuing & processing, card acceptance, mobile payments and digital banking (if required, doing so onsite).
Negotiate with peers and project team, serving as the program/project champion for delivering program/project/enhancements and change requests.
Set up operational processes, risk and fraud prevention and monitoring and reporting of above areas Escalation Management / Change Request Management including financial evaluation
Warrant proper handover from project team during implementation phase to the operations team after successful launch.
Engaging and interacting with strategic partners within established framework agreements, e.g. Card Schemes (for example Visa and Mastercard), Personalization Bureaus (for example Idemia & MCT), as well as Wirecards global BIN sponsor network.
Liaising with relevant product and project teams within Wirecard Group on best practices, project methodology and solution definition, especially other Professional Services teams internationally.
Build relationships and work with stakeholders within broader organization to ensure successful delivery of Professional Services Projects.
Ability to manage multiple projects with strong planning and organizational skills
Your Profile :
Expert knowledge of the prepaid, debit and or credit card processing industry, hands on experience within India with international experience being a plus.
7+ years of experience in the Financial Services and Payment Industry is required, particularly experience in working with Visa and MasterCard University degree or equivalent education and relevant industry work experience
4+ years of experience as a project/product manager with excellent knowledge in the implementation and launch of new programs and solutions, client facing a plus.
Proven track record of successfully managing the end to end delivery of card programs/projects.
Experience in project planning and tracking, both agile and waterfall methodologies
Ability to work successfully in a client facing team, hands-on attitude and strong moderating skills, able to find creative compromises and say no when required
Quick understanding of complex processes and great analytical skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Experience in working effectively in a global cross-functional matrix organization.
