Job Description

Title: Deputy Manager EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) Location: Koppal, Karnataka Years of Experience: Minimum 7 years Salary: 10 LPA (Negotiable up to 12) Industry: Solar/Wind Industry Responsibilities Develop EHS plans, requirements for contractors, and conduct pre-qualification assessments Oversee contractors to ensure compliance with local regulations, ESMS/ESIA standards, and procedures Implement and audit ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements Monitor and improve the effectiveness of EHS rules and take corrective actions when needed Communicate EHS policies and ensure site-wide compliance Prepare EHS reports and dashboards for management review Define and evaluate EHS objectives Develop and maintain emergency, security, and access control procedures Administer EHS training programs Investigate incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrences Conduct regular EHS audits and maintain records Requirements Bachelors degree in science, Mathematics. Physics, and Chemistry [MPC] / degree or diploma in engineering NEBOSH diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or similar certification minimum 7 years of experience leading EHS for wind and solar construction projects Fluency in English, Hindi, and the local language (Marathi preferred) Key Skills Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint implementation of EHS systems. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
