Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer specialized in AWS to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery, while utilizing AWS services and best practices. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DevOps principles, extensive experience with AWS technologies, and a passion for automating and streamlining processes. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines, including continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment. Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar, to automate infrastructure. provisioning and configuration management. Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and others to optimize application performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management processes. Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for container deployment and management. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, implementing proactive measures for performance optimization and security enhancement. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security best practices and implement appropriate security measures within the infrastructure. Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure timely identification and resolution of incidents. Conduct regular performance and cost analysis, optimizing infrastructure and application resources for efficiency. Stay updated with the latest AWS services, tools, and industry trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, provide technical guidance, and drive efficient and reliable software delivery processes. Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience of at least 6 years as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS, demonstrating successful delivery of complex infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and others. Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes). Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, tools, and best practices. Strong knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices in an AWS environment. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Prometheus/Grafana. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed and cloud-based environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate are preferred.
