Role Definition: As the Director of Sales, you will be directly responsible for driving sales growth in the Indian pharma sector through our innovative digital, AI, and technical solutions. Your initial target will be to generate INR 4 crores of new sales in the first 12 months, followed by INR 8 crores in the subsequent 12 months. This role reports directly to the companys promoters. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all stages of the sales process, from planning to execution. Manage the sales team, providing them with monthly targets, necessary training, and regular performance reviews. Ensure the team meets monthly targets related to sales outreach, calls, demos, proposals, and revenue. Refine sales collaterals, proposals, and training materials to drive sales. Ensure collections are made within 30-45 days from the invoice date to maintain a healthy cash flow. Tasks and Activities: Develop and present monthly sales plans for yourself and the sales team members. Provide. results analysis on the 15th and 30th of each month. Set up systems for managing pre-sales and sales teams. Develop quarterly and monthly plans for new and existing customers. Set client-level targets. Identify potential clients to be targeted monthly and execute outreach through pre-sales and sales. Assist in hiring and training the sales team, and building their capabilities. Personally lead by conducting 200 client calls, 18 meetings (zoom or physical), and creating 10 new proposals every month. Ensure targets are met at both individual and team levels for calls, emailers, and reach outs at each stage of the pipeline. Refine collaterals, proposals, and products based on customer feedback. Streamline marketing efforts to ensure the website generates at least 10 quality leads monthly. Oversee SEO and content marketing efforts to increase website visits by 10% monthly. Work with the team to develop compelling collaterals and improve proposals and demos. Measurement and Metrics: Generate minimum INR 20 lacs per month of new business with expected collection cycles. Send out a minimum of 20 proposals per month with due follow-ups. Conduct a minimum of 15 client demos per month with the recordings available for review. Requirements: 7+ years of Pharma Marketing, Technology Sales experience with an existing network at C-level / CXO-1 to drive immediate revenue. A passion to roll up your sleeves and understand the Pharma / Healthcare AI space better.
