Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer for Network Operations Center (NOC) to lead the Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) Broadband Network Gateway (BNG) implementation at Nokia Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have expertise in BNG, IP/MPLS, BGP, Linux, and Radius to design, deploy, and optimize high-performance broadband networks.
Key Responsibilities:
BNG Deployment: Configure and optimize Broadband Network Gateway (BNG) solutions for efficient subscriber management.
IP/MPLS Network Design: Architect and implement IP/MPLS-based transport networks to ensure scalability and reliability.
Routing Protocols: Configure and troubleshoot BGP for seamless interconnectivity and traffic engineering.
Linux Administration: Manage and optimize Linux-based network systems for automation and performance tuning.
Radius AAA Integration: Implement Radius-based authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) for subscriber management.
Network Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with network architects, system engineers, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration.
Documentation Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and adhere to industry best practices and security standards.
Required Skills Qualifications:
Strong expertise in BNG, IP/MPLS, BGP, Linux, and Radius.
Hands-on experience with BNG network implementation.
Proficiency in network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, or Terraform) is a plus.
Familiarity with Nokia networking solutions and hardware.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications:
Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, or Nokia NRS II/SRA.
