: Taxila Business School is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Placement Officer to join our team. The Placement Officer will play a pivotal role in connecting our talented students with leading organizations and ensuring successful placements. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse network of corporate partners and employers. Stay updated on industry trends, job market demands, and employer expectations to guide students effectively. Organize and oversee career fairs, on-campus recruitment drives, and placement-related events to. facilitate student-employer interactions. Assist students in preparing for job interviews by providing guidance on resume building, interview techniques, and soft skills development. Collaborate with faculty and academic departments to understand the strengths and weaknesses of students, ensuring they are well-prepared for the job market. Maintain a database of student profiles, ensuring all relevant information is accurate and up-to-date. Track and report on placement statistics, employment trends, and outcomes, providing regular updates to the management. Identify internship opportunities for students and work closely with organizations to provide real-world experience. Manage the placement process, from coordinating interviews to finalizing job offers, and ensure a smooth transition for students into their professional careers. Assist in creating and maintaining a strong alumni network, leveraging their connections to benefit current students. Qualifications: A Master's degree MBA/PGDM is required. Proven experience as a Placement Officer or in a similar role in a reputable educational institution of minimum 5 years. A strong network of connections with employers and industry professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, faculty, and corporate partners. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of career counseling and guidance techniques. Familiarity with job market trends, recruitment processes, and industry-specific requirements. Proficiency in using relevant computer software and databases for managing placement data. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a commitment to achieving placement targets.
