Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong and diverse background in Systems Administration, specifically on Linux, CentOS, Unix and Windows Operating Systems. The position is responsible for the design, engineering, implementation and support of virtual and physical environments which includes but not limited to VMWare VCenter, ESXi, Openstack, Networking, and Storage. Responsible for maintenance of Linux Enterprise servers. The role also participates in disaster recovery efforts and performs system backups and restores. This individual must be an expert in all aspects of managing server and storage environments. The position also has shared oversight of infrastructure architecture and will assist in developing standards and setting direction for Infrastructure technology. Duties/Responsibilities Design, implement and support VMware and Openstack production, development, test and DR environments Design, implement, improve monitoring and alerting of Data Center. infrastructure Plan, document, and communicate all changes to server hardware and software Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware and software Design, implement and support Linux and Windows server production, dev/test and DR environments Manage system infrastructure patch releases, including enhancements to current system functionality Create, maintain and update platform documentation and standard operating procedures Assess system performance, provide capacity planning, and drive VMware and server OS evolution and standardization using ITIL and automation where possible Leads in assessing business needs to determine specific server hardware and software solutions Participates in establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing backup/restores; maintaining disaster recovery documentation 7X24 support to VMware, Windows and Linux servers on an on-call rotation Diagnoses server and operational problems and develops effective solutions Lead root cause analysis with incident and problem management for servers Work with cross functional global IT resources and business groups to enhance core systems experience What we offer Competitive salary and performance bonuses A friendly, dynamic, and exciting environment An opportunity to personally make a difference An exciting, rapidly growing business environment A modern system using the latest technology and tools Flexible working hours Job Features Job Category System Admin Experience 4 and above Salary 4 to 8 LPA Job Level Senior Remote Working No
