Job Description

We are looking for a Linux Admin SME/L3 to join our team and provide support for UNIX and Linux systems working in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure, as well as collaborating with other teams and developing automation strategies and deployment processes. You will also be expected to share your knowledge and expertise with other Linux administrators and engineers. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain infrastructure components in a virtualized Linux environment Plan and deploy migration of applications from Solaris to Linux Fully manage the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of all aspects of Linux servers Knowledge of Data Storage Technologies such as NAS or SAN Provide direct mission support in a classified and unclassified Linux desktop and server environment Within this role, the individual will architect, install, configure, and optimize computing systems and networks. in a Linux-based environment Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux and Windows servers Troubleshoot and resolve failed processes on DASD, Hadoop, Isilon, Linux, SQL Server, & Windows Write and troubleshoot Windows and Linux Shell Scripts Background in SaaS infrastructure and service development, ideally across a wide range of software, operational, and networking aspects Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar relevant degree In-depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc. Hands-on experience with MySQL and/or MariaDB Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE, and LPIC) will be considered an advantage Strong problem-solving and communication skills This job was posted by Gunjan Arora from Globalxperts
