Job Description

Candidate having BE / B Tech / Diploma in Machining, Manufacturing, Production are preferred. He/ She should have sound technical knowledge about machining operations, activities, inspection, tolerances. Should have background in Gear Manufacturing or Transmission Manufacturing.

1. Experience in the Development/procurement of Gearbox/transmission & its components( Gears, Shaft, bearings, seals,clutches, housings etc.)

2. Should have hands on knowledge on gear machining/manufacturing processes like hobbing, shaping. heat treatment, shaving, grinding, broaching etc.

3. planning, scheduling, monitoring & controlling ,progress reporting of project on MS Project is preferred.

4. Material planning, inventory & cost control

5. Liaison with customer for project reviews and site work / trials

6. Coordination with various functions like design, engineering, production, quality, supply chain, logistics with in and outside the organization

7. Experience in working with ERP, PLM platform will be considered as added advantage

8. Knowledge on Project management with the focus on cost , quality control and timely delivery will be added advantage,
