Position: Project Engineer- Mechatronics/Robotics Position Summary: Should have minimum 5-6 years" experience in design and development of mechatronic systems by integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components to meet specific project requirements. Must have the knowledge of Robotics. Required Qualification & Certification: Degree B. Tech with specialization in mechatronics. Experience: At least 6 years Location: Head Office, Noida Behavioral Competencies Excellent Communication & Presentation skills Strong negotiation and influencing skills Target oriented with focus on key deliverables. Should be willing to travel domestic. Technical Skills Hands on MS Office-MS Outlook/ PPT/ MS Excel/ MS Word. Should be able to effectively create reports & presentations. Should have good exposure to AutoCAD. Statement of Job Responsibilities: System Design: Design and develop mechatronic systems by integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components to. meet specific project requirements. Component Selection: Select appropriate sensors, actuators, motors, controllers, and other components necessary for system functionality, considering factors such as cost, performance, reliability, and safety. System Integration: Integrate mechanical components, electrical circuits, sensors, and software to create a complete mechatronic system, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance. Control Systems: Design control algorithms and develop software for real-time control of mechatronic systems, like intel atoms, raspberry PI, etc including closed-loop feedback control, motion control, and system monitoring, Battery management & monitoring system. Perception Systems: Develop and integrate advanced sensor systems, such as cameras, lidar, radar, or depth sensors, to enable robot perception, object recognition, mapping, and localization. Path Planning and Control: Design algorithms and implement software solutions for motion planning, trajectory generation, and real-time control of robotic systems, considering constraints, safety requirements, and optimization objectives. Machine Learning and AI: Apply machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to enable robots to learn and adapt to their environment, make decisions, and perform complex tasks autonomously. Sensor Fusion and Localization: Integrate multiple sensor modalities, such as vision, inertial measurement units (IMUs), and encoders, to achieve accurate robot localization and mapping in dynamic environments. Robotic Manipulation and Grasping: Develop algorithms and control strategies for robotic manipulation and grasping of objects with varying shapes, sizes, and properties, including force and tactile sensing. Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes to verify system functionality, performance, and reliability. Conduct experiments and data analysis to optimize system design and address any issues or limitations. Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechatronics technology, research new methods, tools, and techniques, and propose innovative solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency. To coordinate and ensure timely supply of material from Company own manufacturing unit and from various sub-vendors. To coordinate with software developers. To interact and coordinate with Client and Design review agencies for arranging approval of engineering documents
