Backend Developer (Spring Boot - Java/Kotlin, Experience)

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 13 years of experience in Spring Boot using Java and/or Kotlin. You will build secure, high-performance APIs and backend services to support our Android, iOS, and web applications.
Projects Youll Work On
- RESTful APIs for mobile and web apps
- Admin and analytics dashboards
- Real-time and asynchronous services
- Microservices or modular monoliths leveraging Spring ecosystem
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Spring Boot (Java/Kotlin).
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end and mobile clients.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Work closely with product and mobile teams to deliver features.
- Optimize applications for scalability, security, and performance.
- Implement unit and integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 13 years of experience with Java and/or Kotlin using Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of JPA/Hibernate and relational data modeling.
- Version control using Git.
- Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle).
- Knowledge of architectural patterns (MVC, layered, microservices).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to OAuth2/JWT security.
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming, WebSockets.
Bonus Points
- Contributions to open-source backend projects.
- GitHub repositories showcasing Spring Boot projects.
- Experience deploying and monitoring production systems.
