Entity: Guy Carpenter As a part of the Guy Carpenter Client Support Services function of Marsh McLennan Global Services (MMGS) the colleague would support Operations team. The role will be based in Mumbai Hiranandani office. This role will be an extension of the existing IMEA BSS team and entitled; IMEA Broker Support Administration Job Title: Lead Specialist/Deputy Manager What can you expect You will part of the team working with reinsurance professionals with a range of experience having strength in operations, claims, and compliance, broking and reinsurance placements both Treaty and Facultative There is a requirement to have a broad awareness of the Reinsurance market and all aspects impacting the same and influencing the practices followed in the servicing clients/Insurer Ensuring smooth collaboration with other technical experts across locations Monitor the agreement, following up with clients and reinsurers Handling enquiries from Reinsurers and clients An. opportunity to understand end to end lifecycle of Re-insurance Broking A place to enhance your knowledge and leadership skills Immense opportunity to lead Change Management initiatives We will count on you to: Responsible for the 90 day pre-renewal set up which includes: Account Status check up Initial Renewal Slip set up Set up Firm Order / Placement Monitor and Quote Monitor sheets used during the placement stages Internal folder set up for renewal / new business (K Center and Internal Shared Folder) Initial set up for OpenTWINS record Responsible for post placement tasks which includes: Completion of internal checklists and any other compliance related documents required for audit purposes Completion of Opening Memo providing processing instructions for CSS Ensuring email correspondence related to each placement being filed in the correct K Center and internal folders Risk Load in to OpenTwins Issuance of Evidence of Cover (EOC) Creation of OneVolve workflow into CSS Updating the BSS Masterlist(s) in conjunction with BSS colleagues to ensure all post placement details are logged at the point where CSS are initiated Preparation of VAT invoices (where applicable) across various territories Ongoing responsibility for Account/Adjustment Monitoring Monitoring and where required escalate internally for BSS to chase for overdue quarterly accounts on proportional treaties / premium adjustments for excess of loss contracts Ascertain with CSS status of Accounts/Adjustments in terms of what has been processed and GC revenue attaching What you need to have: Good written and verbal communication skills (mandatory) Good Typing speed Logical Reasoning and prioritization skills Problem Solving and Analytical Skills Proficient with MS outlook & MS Excel Team Management Skills 8 -10 year of experience with the Reinsurance What makes you stand out Experience in interacting with international customers (preferred) Excellent presentation and MS office power point skills (preferred) Basic understanding of Insurance principles & terminologies Basic understanding of Risk & Financial regulatory bodies (preferred) Experience in regulations that govern Insurance in our countries of operation (i.e. UK, Australia, Asia) (preferred) MARSH & MCLENNAN: Marsh & McLennan (NYSE: MMC) is the world's leading professional services firm in the areas of risk, strategy and people.
