Job Description

3. JOB SUMMARY MEL Executive is responsible for achieving business target from Micro Enterprise andensuringrepayment of his portfolio. To fulfil the responsibilities, the MEL Executive conducts bazaar/areasurvey, new customer acquisition, physical verification of client and household, disbursement of loan, repayment and overdue collection, MIS entry in MIS, proper documentation. Besides this MEL Executive assists Branch Head in branch administration and dailybranchrelated banking transaction. Other key responsibilities include building strong client relationshipand maintaining relationship with local key person such as representative of bazaar samity, municipality gram panchayat, other opinion leaders. While performing the above responsibilities, the MEL Executive must follow Arohans corevalues,code of ethics and other institutional policies.   

. Job Profile 5.1 Technical Competency Description Business development 1. Conducts survey to identify potential clients in the assignedoperational geography 2. Identify new business location though area survey Credit sourcing and assessment 1. Trains customers about terms and condition of loanandArohan policy 2. Collects loan documents as per KYC policy and checksthemagainst originals 3. Conducts physical verification of applicant as per policy4. Fills loan forms properly based on physical verificationanddiscussion with clients, and files them Credit disbursement 1. Fills up loan documents (pronote, mutual agreement, loanrepayment book) ready before time of loan disbursement 2. Assists Branch Head in disbursement and loan processingfeecollection Repayment 1. Collects repayment amount as per due schedule 2. Deposits all collected repayment amount (if collectedincash)in the bank every day. Overdue management 1. Follows up with overdue customers and collects overdueMIS entry 1. Makes repayment and overdue collection data entry inMISPortfolio and risk management 1. Take preventive (proper physical verification, loanappraisal and curative (overdue follow up) measures to maintainhighquality portfolio 2. Keeps a regular track of overdue clients and reasonsforoverdue 5.2 Organizational Competency Description Planning 1. Work with objectives and set targets 2. Prepares work plan and sets targets for oneself

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS Minimum Qualifications: Graduation Minimum Experience: 2 years (MFI/ NBFC/ CASA/ Credit Card/ LI/GI/Mutual Funds/Retail Assets experience will be considered) Desired Skill: Good communication and interpersonal skills
