Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Lightning UX/UI Developer to support the build-out of a Salesforce Community/Member site for a patient assistance program with a strong emphasis on custom UI/UX. This role is critical for helping AstraZeneca meet its aggressive July go-live timeline. You'll be working alongside internal and external Salesforce developers and stakeholders in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement custom UI/UX solutions in Salesforce Lightning, primarily for a Salesforce Community/Member site.
- Collaborate with internal and external dev teams, BAs, and POs to refine designs and translate business needs into working interfaces.
- Leverage existing PDFs and Adobe XD designs to build UI components for the next 3 sprints.
- Post-3 sprints: take ownership of UX/UI design and development from scratch.
- Participate in regular developer check-ins and code reviews.
- Contribute to basic QA testing to ensure front-end quality, even if a full QA pipeline exists.
- Adapt quickly and take initiativethis is a run with it environment focused on delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience with Salesforce Lightning development and UI/UX best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Communities (Experience Cloud).
- Comfortable building from existing prototypes (PDFs, Adobe XD) and creating new designs when needed.
- Ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding while staying collaborative.
- Familiarity with CRM user experiences and how they impact productivity.
- Basic QA/testing experience to catch and troubleshoot issues early.

- Hardcore dev mindset: ready to take ownership and drive things to completion.
- Exposer to Salesforce Agent Force
- Proactive communicator who isn't afraid to ask questions and get clarity fast.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities with composure.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including business analysts and product owners.
