Job Description
Should be a data-driven, customer-centric individual with a strong understanding of financial markets, technology, and regulatory landscapes, capable of translating business objectives into innovative fintech products while navigating complex technical considerations and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver successful launches and ongoing product improvements; ideally possessing experience in areas like payments, lending, wealth management, or investment platforms, with a proven track record of driving product adoption and market penetrationJob Description:- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape within the fintech sector, translating insights into a compelling product vision and roadmap.- Define product requirements, prioritize features, and collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop user-friendly, scalable, and secure fintech solutions.- Utilize data analytics to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions based on user behaviour and market trends.- Advocate for the customer experience, gather feedback through user research and testing, and prioritize features that directly address user needs.- Possess a foundational understanding of relevant fintech technologies, including APIs, payment gateways, blockchain, and data security protocols to effectively communicate with technical teams.- Stay abreast of evolving financial regulations and ensure product development aligns with compliance requirements.- Work seamlessly with stakeholders across departments including sales, marketing, operations, and legal to ensure smooth product launch and ongoing management.- Effectively manage product development timelines, budgets, and milestones, ensuring timely delivery of features and functionality- Proficient in using AI/ML, and LLM models for business and financial use cases.- Keep abreast of rapid changes in this space and suggest new innovating methods to use on business and product related features.- Able to communicate this approach to developers both verbal and written- Good Project Management skills to monitor the progress and measure results.Relevant Experience:- Proven experience as a product or program manager preferably in the fintech industry, ideally with a track record of launching successful financial products.- Expertise in specific fintech areas like digital payments, lending platforms, wealth management, or investment solutions.- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects from concept to launch- Agile methodology experience to manage product development in a fast-paced environmentQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, CFA, CFP) preferred.- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey product vision and strategy to stakeholders- Deep knowledge of SEBI regulations and compliance requirements.- Proven ability in product development and program management
