Cloud Architecture Design & Implementation
Architect cloud-native solutions to ensure scalability, availability, and disaster recovery
Implement high-availability and secure cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS
Kubernetes & EKS
Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters in AWS EKS, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Implement best practices for containerization, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize Kubernetes deployment.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Develop and maintain Terraform templates and modules for infrastructure provisioning and automation across Azure and AWS.
Implement and enforce infrastructure standards, best practices, and automation processes.
Cloud Security & Governance:
Ensure cloud security, compliance, and governance in both AWS and Azure environments.
Implement identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and other security best practices in the cloud.
Cost Management & FinOps:
Drive cost optimization initiatives in AWS and Azure, ensuring efficient use of cloud resources.
Implement and manage FinOps best practices to monitor cloud spending, forecast costs, and optimize resource utilization.
Develop cost-saving strategies and provide regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and business teams to deliver cloud solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.
Guide teams on cloud-native development practices, resource scaling, and cloud cost management.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and services.
Continuously evaluate and improve cloud infrastructure, security, and performance to meet organizational goals.
Key Skills & Experience:
Cloud Platforms: Strong experience in AWS and Azure, including services like EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and more.
Kubernetes & EKS: Expertise in AWS EKS, containerization technologies (Docker), and Kubernetes orchestration.
Terraform: Proven experience with Terraform to automate and manage infrastructure as code.
FinOps: Experience implementing FinOps strategies for optimizing cloud costs, budgeting, and reporting.
CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with DevOps tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
Cloud Security: Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, VPC security, and encryption.
Scripting: Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
Networking: Understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, Direct Connect, Load Balancers, and Cloud Networking.
Monitoring & Logging: Experience with cloud monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar.
Certifications (Preferred):
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
FinOps Certified Practitioner (Optional but beneficial
