Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform the tests requiring special skills
Stores Management and stocks maintenance.
Maintenance of master register and records as per the drug act.
Maintenance of equipments.
To perform all technical work relevant to Transfusion Medicine
To perform different tests using automated systems.
To perform all serological & immunological tests including ELISA, Rapid & PCR etc.
Responsible for proper running and management of equipment supply, HIS, material and coordinate with Biomedical Engineering, IT and Materials Department for maintenance of equipment and supply of material
Involve quality assurance and quality control activities
Responsible for inventory management of blood
Day to day quality management of chemical and request used in department
To supervisor of donor blood collection and make a data of donor
Blood donor registration
Perform donor screening & blood collection.
Perform Aphaeresis procedure
Component Preparation
Perform blood grouping, cross matching and issue of blood/components
Documentation of blood record.
Managing HIS on Computer
Blood Bank equipment maintenance and management
Inventory control and management of BB Consumables
