Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for generating revenue for the respective branch through HNIs, Retail clients & Franchisee for wealth business and broking business.
  • Would be responsible for achieving Revenue, Incremental SIP & Net Equalized Assets (LS) targets for the branch with help of respective Relationship Manager (Wealth & Equity Rms).
  • Should meet all UHNI & Corporate Clients of respective branch and franchisee.
  • Will be responsible for achieving branch profitability.
  • Will be responsible for achieving a surplus through New Business development by directing New Business development teams in Asset Gathering.
  • Should focus on all the products including equity, derivatives (F&O), Margin Trading Funding (MTF), currency, commodities, MF, AIF, Advisory, PMS etc.
  • Should be responsible for expansion of client base including (HNI, Ground, and Web).
  • Develop business through appointment of new franchisees in the territory.
  • Will be responsible for achieving brokerage revenue as per defined targets for branch through Equity Relationship Managers.
  • Should ensure adherence to all compliances as laid down by Risk and Compliance teams in the Organisation.
  • Should ensure training of team members in building Asset gathering skills, and take initiatives to build employees capability.

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Responsible to drive Team members to achieve their business targets and ensure their productivity.
  • Taking initiatives in building Mirae Asset Sharekhan brand in the Location
  • To Drive business with help of Business Development RMs in the branch
  • Maintain I/E Ratio from Direct business & franchisee business as per company targets.
  • Help in attracting, retaining and developing the Talent for the branch and fulfill the recruitment targets
  • Should be responsible for doing activities for lead generation and brand building for the branch.
  • Work on accounts transferred from DIY and make sure clients are active and generating the revenues.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Graduate or above with 4 or more years relevant experience, with overall 7 years experience in BFSI.
  • At least 2 yr exp as Branch Manager or as Team Leader
