Notice Period : Immediate 15 days Employee Type : Full time Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Smartphone Field Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our latest smartphone devices.Key Responsibilities : Field Testing : - Conduct comprehensive field testing of smartphones and smartwatches to evaluate performance, connectivity, and user experience under real-world conditions.- Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, call quality, data transfer speeds, and other critical functionalities.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve field issues promptly.Log Analysis and Debugging : - Utilize advanced logging tools like QxDM, QCAT, Wireshark, STT, and ELT to analyze device logs and identify root causes of performance issues.- Debug complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.3GPP Standards : - Possess a deep understanding of 3GPP specifications for 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Reporting and Documentation : - Prepare detailed test reports, summarizing test results, findings, and recommendations.- Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.Team Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer support, to ensure timely resolution of field issues.- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.Required Skills and Qualifications : - 3-5 years of experience in smartphone field testing.- Strong understanding of 3GPP specifications for 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies.- Hands-on experience with Android and iOS devices, including smartphones and smartwatches.- Proficiency in using log analysis tools like QxDM, QCAT, Wireshark, STT, and ELT.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Preferred Skills : - Experience with network optimization and performance tuning.- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation.- Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
