Job Description
The Search Language Specialist team ensures our software is localized for global markets. We use language expertise to adapt search features, UI elements, and content for different languages and regions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software internationalization, localization processes. Additionally, experience working with native language expertise in the localization of search functionalities will be highly valuable. Qualifications: Education : Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Linguistics, or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities: Globalize/Localize/Test features using native language expertise Collaboration with internal teams to address technical / operational challenges.Problem-Solving / Troubleshooting Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner.
Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Learning Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Continuous evaluation and improvements of processes to enhance the partner experience and drive business growth.
Language Proficiency :Native/Read-Write-Spoken proficiency in one or more of the following languages is essential:
Language Priority Punjabi and HindiP0 TamilP0 Bengali and HindiP1Gujarati and HindiP1 Malayalam P1Urdu and HindiP2 TeluguP2
Technical Requirements: Must-Have Skills: Strong understanding of software internationalization, localization processes, and cross-site communication challenges Knowledge of localization of search features and how cultural nuances impact search results. Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets (formulas, data manipulation, analysis).Ability to create data visualizations and dashboards to monitor localization progress and efficiency .Ability to handle dynamic changes and evolving priorities in an agile environment.
Good-to-Have Skills: Understanding of Basic NLP Text Preprocessing: Tokenization, stopword etc.
Part-of-Speech Tagging: Assigning parts of speech to words in a sentence (e.g., noun, verb).Basic understanding of metrics like precision, recall and accuracy
