Collection Executive @ Konnect HR Hiring

Job Description

PURPOSE:

Collections executives are responsible for managing the collection of outstanding debts from clients and customers and are responsible to follow up with sales team and inform customers of their overdue bills and attempt to collect payment to mitigate company losses.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Reviewing the company debtor list
• Follow up with sales team for collection received
• Contacting customers and informing them of their overdue bills
• Advising customers on their payment options and suggesting methods of payments
• Following collection process and maintaining customer payment records.
• Writing final notice warnings to customers when payments are not being made.
• Instituting legal action when customers fail to pay their debt.
• Responding to customer queries.

MAJOR CONTACT WITH:

• All the channel customers
• Sales & Depot Team
• Accounts team

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in accounting, business management, or a similar field.
• Previous experience working as a Collections Executive

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Excellent negotiating skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with state debt collection laws.
• Knowledge of payment plans and accounting procedures.
• Knowledge of office and accounting software (Tally ERP).
• Patience and resilience.
