Job Description
Role Proficiency:
Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering
Outcomes:
- Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.
- Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.
- Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
- Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
- Mentor Developer 1 - Software Engineering and Developer 2 - Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles
- Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
- Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation
- Assists Lead 1 - Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Additional Comments:About the Role: We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented OutSystems Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our application development team. This role requires proficiency in building responsive web applications, delivering modern UI/UX experiences, and integrating with complex backend systems including SQL databases and Snowflake. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using the OutSystems low-code platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into effective digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop responsive, scalable web applications using OutSystems Reactive Web or Traditional Web frameworks. Deliver intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring a high-quality user experience across devices and browsers. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional technical specifications. Integrate applications with external systems, including REST/SOAP APIs, SQL databases, and Snowflake data warehouses. Implement data handling logic, including complex SQL queries, data transformations, and performance optimizations. Participate in UI/UX design activities, including prototyping, wireframing, and user feedback loops. Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards. Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience with the OutSystems platform (Reactive Web and/or Traditional Web). Proven expertise in developing responsive web applications with modern UI/UX design practices. Strong command of SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle). Hands-on experience integrating with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms is highly desirable. Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript within the OutSystems context. Good understanding of application integration using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware services. Experience in Agile development methodologies with knowledge of CI/CD processes in OutSystems. Familiarity with performance tuning and debugging techniques for enterprise web applications.
