DevOps cum Data Engineer @ Leuwint Technologies

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps cum Data Engineer with expertise in Unix shell scripting, log analysis, and root cause identification. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HP-UX/Linux and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills. You will be responsible for managing scheduled jobs, restoring data, and preparing applications by running scripts and verifying results.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience is required.
• Proven experience in Unix Shell Scripting and system automation.
• Strong analytical skills in log analysis and root cause determination.
• Experience working with UNIX/LINUX systems (HP-UX is preferred).
• Effective interpersonal communication to interact across teams.
• Ability to handle multiple scheduled jobs and ensure timely execution.
• Prior experience in data extraction and validation.
• Knowledge of CISAM will add more preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize Unix shell scripts for automation and job scheduling.
• Conduct detailed log analysis to identify and resolve system issues.
• Perform root cause investigations and implement permanent solutions.
• Handle daily email communications and timely updates on system status.
• Oversee the execution of scheduled jobs and troubleshoot failures.
• Restore and recover data as required, ensuring system integrity.
• Run application scripts and validate results for smooth operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless data and system management.
