About the role: We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator (Oracle/Azure) Responsibilities Troubleshoot complex database issues in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain database disaster recovery procedures to ensure continuous availability and speedy recovery. Ensure databases are deployed according to GBS standards and business requirements. Identify and resolve database issues related to performance and capacity. Ensure database management and maintenance tasks are performed effectively. Ensure ticket SLA expectations are met. Stay updated with new database technologies and analyze such technologies to bring them into the scope of existing infrastructure. Required skills: Required skills: 7+ years of overall experience. 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure. Must have successfully migrated on-prem to Azure. Past experience with database migrations and toolsets in Azure. Experience with all aspects of setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, monitoring, and security. Nice to have skills: Experience with Upgrade/Migration of database platforms of On-Prem to cloud solutions a plus. Location: 100% remote. At least 6 hours of overlap with India IST.
