Job Description
Role & responsibilities -
- You are responsible as a frontend developer to develop and maintain UI Components for the design system in the UXD team
- You have a passion for UI engineering, design tokens are not a mystery for you.
- You develop software (in Angular) as described in figma perform, perform Unit Tests and write stories in storybook.
- You document the components in zeroheight for other frontend developers to use.
- Present the changes of the components on a technical level in the frontend chapter.
- You adhere to the scaled agile way of working, including participation in dailies and retrospectives.
- You take assist other frontend developers in using the components and angular packages in their applications.
- You follow the evolutions in software development and apply then in a pragmatic way
- You have an understanding or know how to work with NX monorepo and angular.
- You are a wizard in translating design into proper functioning html, css. Good knowledge of sass is a must.
Preferred candidate profile -
- Bachelors or masters degree in engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Computer/IT) or a related field.
- You have 10+ years of proven experience in web design, computer science or multimedia.
- You have deep knowledge in Angular Technologies
- You have a good understanding on front-end technologies and architectures
- Your experience in building design systems in a B2B environment is a plus.
- You are used to work in an agile team with high level of autonomy
- You are familiar with one of the CI/CD frameworks and UX testing frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basics UX design skills with Figma
- You are pro-active, take initiative within the team
- You are eager to learn and challenge the status-quo
- You have professional proficiency in English
