Job Description

Salesforce Senior Developer to work in a fast-paced environment with an inspired and talented team. The Salesforce Senior will be responsible for executing initiatives to maximize the efficiency of the Jacuzzi Salesforce Organization. The position will work closely with the Business to resolve issues and enhance all aspects of our Salesforce(SFDC) environment. The Salesforce Organization consists of over 1000 internal users and over 1000 partner experience users.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall, the Salesforce Senior will be responsible for the following:

  • Salesforce Development Activities
  • Salesforce Support (where code is impacted)
  • Salesforce Project Implementation
  • Salesforce Integrations
  • Salesforce Releases / Maintenance

Lead Salesforce Developer, with expertise in the following areas:

  • Salesforce APIs, Apex Triggers and Classes, SOQL, Force.com, Asynchronous Apex
  • Salesforce Lightning Web Component (LWC) Development and JavaScript
  • Development experience in Visualforce Pages/Aura Lightning Development to support and

migrate existing VisualForce pages/Aura Lightning Components in the Org

  • Optimize code and queries for high volumes of data
  • SFDC governor limits and best practice guidelines with an eye for reusability and scalability
  • Experience with relational databases and object-oriented coding
  • Understand the importance and techniques of test classes on the Force.com platform

Responsible for Salesforce Support:

  • Troubleshoot and fix production issues, when there are code impacts
  • Help prioritize issues against existing backlog, based on severity and business impact
  • Communicate path to resolution to appropriate business stakeholders

Responsible for Leading Salesforce Project Implementation efforts, including:

  • Lead Technical "Consultant" role on his/her assigned Salesforce Projects
  • Implement a list of Projects, based on the business needs, across all clouds

On larger projects, work with consulting implementation partners

  • Experience in end-to-end ownership of applications, from inception through post-deployment support and iterative enhancements
  • Implement Projects based on the defined Salesforce teams Project Lifecycle (Scoping, Design,Build & Prototype, Testing, Training, Deploy and Maintenance)

Work closely with functional business stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture their ideas and transform them into a workable solution

Design & configure and/or code the proper solution based on the requirements and the

existing SFDC organizations architecture

Solid Declarative foundation e.g., flow, custom objects, actions, security, etc.

Understand the Salesforce order of operation and implement the proper design

Strong understanding of developer areas of the Force.com platform e.g., Visual Force pages,

Apex, etc.

Establish when and why to use Administrator (Declarative) vs. Developer (Code) solutions and

the limitations

Lead prototype sessions with the business to get feedback on the build

Document new/updated code and logic changes

Perform unit testing efforts to validate the build works as designed

Deploy changes from a sandbox environment to a production environment

Provide post production support

Responsible for Salesforce Integrations:

  • Proficient in integration techniques (e.g. SOA/Web services: REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, OAuth)
  • Responsible for integration touchpoints across clouds, including Marketing Cloud and B2C

Commerce Cloud and across applications, including ERP, AWS, etc.

Responsible for Salesforce Releases / Maintenance:

  • Maintain applicable Salesforce Release Enhancements (3X a year)
  • Take ownership in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform
  • Develop ideas for enhancements that apply to our business

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Issue Management experience

Salesforce Implementation experience

Sales, Service, Experience Cloud and Force.com Communities experience

Effectively manage multiple on-going assignments in a fast paced & fluid environment

Excellent communication and organizational skills

An innovative thinker and creative problem solver - must be able to push through ambiguity, solve

problems with little to no assistance

Proficient in related tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Developer Console, Visual Studio)


QUALIFICATIONS

Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification Required

Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification Required

Salesforce Administrator Certification Required

Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification (Not Required but nice to have)

Must possess at least 3 years of Salesforce Development experience

Must possess at least 7 years of Software Development experience
